The TRD PRO 2019 is a suv that anyone will turn around and have a second look at it, also at the person who is driving it. I am not kidding when I say this, everyday at a stoplight I get thumbs up. That’s actually my 4runner.
Anyways lets see what this bad boy got in it. The 4runner that comes with270 horsepower 4.0L V6. The automatic transmission is 5 speed from back in the days. What impress me is the TRD PRO comes with 2.5 inch FOX off-road shocks with TRD Spring coils and a roof rack for those who want to load things to get more room inside. What trips me off is this is 0.5 inches smaller from inside compared to the 2017 TRD OFF ROAD Premium.
Now let me put it boldly out to you who is looking to buy a 2019 4runner. If you are not into off roading, not an adventures, if you care about new technology, if you are a gas conscious person STOP right there and look for something else. This is an old school SUV that’s build for pure fun. This bad boy is not for local streets or Freeways, when I drive on the freeway I say to myself.. Son you are pampering this boy.
Lets talk about the pricing, The sticker price for this was $57,680.00 this is because we are in California. Now don’t get me wrong in Florida my friend said its $60,000. I said son that is not going to move an inch if they don’t bring the price. The MSRP for this 2019 TRD PRO is $49,700 to $51,000. The rest is Dealer markup because of it demand. Toyota came up with 3 colors for 2019, Voodoo blue (like the picture) midnight black and white.
Just for anyone to know this is not my first 4runner. I had the 2015 SR5 ( with the 3rd row ) then the 2017 TRD OFF ROAD premium ( no 3rd row) now the 2019 TRD PRO.
I actually convinced a person to buy a 4runner at the dealership and he asked me ” Sir do you work for the Toyota because you know more about the SUV than the Sales person”.
